In that case a fuller review for here. I *think* it’s spoiler free but proceed with caution: I loved this lil novella with its extremely competent leads. I enjoyed the “retelling” part and dredging up ancient knowledge of the namesakes and the way that this is subverted and repurposed to serve more modern sensibilities as well. The world building of Olympus Publishing and glimpses of other characters has made me super excited for more in this series. I hope we get to spend more time with these leads too because they are truly delightful! Cannot wait for more! Thank you for this delicious morsel!
This is so sweet, and thank you so much! Yes, Penny and Odysseus turn up again in Persephone in Bloom, and the rest of the series. In fact, I wrote PiB first, and really liked them in it. When I was thinking about what I'd like to write for newsletter readers as an introduction, the choice was easy.
I just read this and it was so good! I want more! Where is the most useful place to review it? I can’t see it on goodreads (also your Kate Healey profile seems to be merged with a different Kate Healey?)
Ahhhh, thank you so much! I don't think it is on goodreads, because it's not published, as such - it's a newsletter freebie for the cool people. But augh I better fix up that profile merge! Thanks for the heads up!

And if you decide to more formally publish it, let me know and I’ll review it there too. I think this is my favourite writing of yours to date!

I have managed to get it up on goodreads! https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/162898650-penelope-pops-the-question
I guess the best place to review it is... here!
